A flat baseline with no other significant bumps indicates there are zero impurities or degradation byproducts.
3. How do I read the Mass Spectrometry (MS) chart?
Mass Spectrometry confirms the exact molecular identity of the compound. The sharpest, tallest bar on the red MS chart indicates the primary mass-to-charge ratio (m/z).
